Fernand Gillet – Hugo Fox International Competition

The finalists of the 2025 Fernand Gillet – Hugo Fox International Competition will perform in Eidson-Duckwall Recital Hall from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Friday June 13th, 2025.

Final round repertoire includes Sonata by Grazyna Bacewicz; movements I, II, and IV of Heinz Holliger’s Five Little Pieces; the Oboe Concerto in D Major by Giuseppe Sammartini; and Three Etudes by Jose Siqueira.

The winner of the final round will perform the Concerto in D Major by Guisseppe Sammartini during the Evening Concert on Saturday, June 14 at 7pm in CLowers Memorial Hall and will receive a cash prize of $8,000 USD.
