The Ovid Project: Metamorphoses. University of Arkansas Oboe Studio and Alumni

Each performer will perform a short movement based on a story from Ovid’s Metamorphoses, chosen from three composers: Robert Mueller’s Pyramus and Thisbe, Ann Cawrse’s Carmen Perpetuum: Six Metamorphoses after Ovid, and Michael Daughterty’s Six Riffs after Ovid. As each performer performs, a slide will be projected behind them, telling the story of their movement.
