Dr. Carlos Feller is Assistant Professor of Music at Ouachita Baptist University where he teaches Flute, Music Theory, Aural Skills, and Music History courses and directs the Ouachita Flute Ensemble. Dr. Feller has previously served on faculty at Oklahoma Baptist University, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, University of Southern Mississippi, and Florida State University. Feller maintains a versatile career as an orchestral musician, recitalist, and chamber musician. He is a member of the ensembles International SuperFlutes Collective, Music Unites, Ricercata Winds, Traverso Colore, and duo partner with pianist Dr. Mary Chung. Feller currently serves as Appointee Liaison for the National Flute Association, is on the board of the Mid-South Flute Society, is a faculty member of the International Flute Workshop in Roccasecca, Italy, and serves as the director of the Hot Springs Flute Ensemble.
Oboist Galit Kaunitz is the Assistant Professor of Oboe at Colorado State University. She is an active orchestral musician, performs solo and chamber music recitals, and co-created the Double Reed Dish podcast. Galit explores themes of culture, and identity through her solo and chamber music recitals. She is dedicated to expanding the canon to include works by underrepresented and displaced composers, and enthusiastically collaborates with composers to commission new works. She can be heard on the album All Are Welcome, which features new commissions for oboe and bassoon by Connor Chee, brin solomon, Mason Bynes, and Kate Pukinskis. Galit is also uncovering the legacy of composer Elizabeth Gyring through performing and recording her works. Galit is grateful to have studied under Eric Ohlsson, Rebecca Henderson, Humbert Lucarelli, and Marilyn Krentzman. Galit is a Marigaux artist and plays on a Marigaux 901/901p.


Michael Rowlett is Associate Professor of Clarinet and Music Literature at The University of Mississippi, where he has taught since 2002. Praised for his “extraordinary richness of tone” (Fanfare 36:5), he has performed widely as a soloist and chamber musician both nationally and internationally, including invited recitals in Nashville, Tennessee; Vancouver, British Columbia; Aberystwyth, Wales; and a performance of William Bolcom’s Clarinet Concerto at The University of North Carolina. He has appeared regularly with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra and the Louisiana Philarmonic Orchestra, and his CD Close to Home, released on the Albany record label, features the music of a diverse group contemporary American composers. He holds a D.M. in clarinet performance from The Florida State University and degrees from The University of Iowa and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His teachers include Frank Kowalsky, Maurita Murphy Mead, Freddy Arteel and Donald Oehler.
Emily Britton is a passionate performer and instructor. A resident of Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Britton currently serves as Principal Horn of the Owensboro Symphony, Evansville Philharmonic, and Indianapolis Chamber Orchestras and frequently performs with the Louisville Orchestra and Nashville Symphony Orchestra. She is on the faculty of Western Kentucky University, Campbellsville University, and the Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts and has previously taught at the University of Louisville and the University of Evansville. Dr. Britton was a member of the USAF Heritage of America Band from 2010 to 2015, stationed at JB Langley-Eustis in Hampton, Virginia. She holds degrees from Roberts Wesleyan University, the Eastman School of Music and Florida State University.


Bassoonist Allison Nicotera is Assistant Professor of Bassoon at the University of Kentucky. As an educator, she is passionate about inspiring bassoonists of all ages to reach their fullest musical potential while realizing the value of their skill sets in all facets of life. An advocate for new music, she serves on the Board of Directors and is bassoonist with Exceptet, a seven-piece new music ensemble. Their debut album, Tree Lines, was released on New Focus Recordings in January 2025. Nicotera received her Bachelor of Music degree from The Hartt School, her Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School, and her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Michigan. When she’s not practicing, performing, teaching, or making reeds she enjoys gardening, tackling home improvement projects with her husband, and spending time with their young daughter, Frankie, and rescue dog, Bowie.
