Luciana Noda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Piano from Faculdades Santa Marcelina (1994), a Master’s (2006), and a Ph.D. in Music (2010) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. She was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the University of Colorado-Boulder (2015-2016), supported by Fulbright and CAPES. Currently an Associate Professor IV, she resides in João Pessoa-PB, where she teaches piano and chamber music at the Federal University of Paraíba and is a permanent faculty member of UFPB’s Graduate Program in Music. Noda regularly presents her research at national and international conferences. She is a founding member of the Brazilian Association for Musical Performance, as well as a member of the National Association for Music Research and Graduate Studies and the Brazilian Collaborative Piano Association. She is also part of the GP4 and MUS3 research groups.
