Dr. Lauren Pokorzynski is a chamber musician, orchestral performer, and educator. In 2023, she was appointed violinist of the Quapaw Quartet in Little Rock, AR, for the 2023–2024 season. She currently performs with the Arkansas Symphony, Tulsa Symphony, Conway Symphony, and the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas. Previously based in Texas, she served as Principal Second Violin of the Lubbock Symphony, Concertmaster of the Texas Tech University Orchestra, and Associate Concertmaster of the Lubbock Chamber Orchestra. She was also active with Chamber Music Amarillo and the West Texas Symphony. Lauren has taught at the Hot Springs Music Festival and Mozart in the Knobs, and recently appeared as Guest Artist at the Faulkner Chamber Music Festival. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Colorado Boulder, and earned her Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from Texas Tech University. This summer, she joins the Bellingham Festival Orchestra in Washington.
