Katelyn Jahnke

Katelyn Jahnke is a soloist, orchestral, and chamber musician who has performed internationally. Recent highlights include performing in Bangkok with the Lyrique Wind Quintet, serving as principal horn with the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas, and soloing at the International Women’s Brass Conference. She has also performed with the Tulsa Symphony, Arkansas Philharmonic, ProMusica Chamber Orchestra, West Virginia Symphony, and others. As a chamber musician, she is the horn player and Executive Director of the Wild Prairie Winds, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that won first prize in the 2020 Gates of Hope Chamber Competition. Jahnke has soloed with ensembles such as the Muskingum Valley Winds, Central College Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and Grand View University Choir, and is scheduled to solo with the University of Arkansas Symphony Orchestra in 2023. She currently serves as Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Arkansas.
