Eric Malson is an active soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician who has performed across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. He has appeared as soloist with the Orquestra da Fundação Gulbenkian, Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa, North Carolina Symphony, and others. A frequent guest at major festivals, he has performed at Ravinia, Tanglewood, Caramoor, Scotia, Wexford, and Mt. Angel Bach Festival, among others. As a collaborative pianist, he has worked with members of the Hagen, Vogler, Alexander, Lark, Cavani, and Ciompi quartets. Malson has served as official accompanist for the Eurovision Young Musicians Competition, the Carnegie Hall International American Music Competition, and the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. His teaching roles include faculty positions at the Juilliard School, Mannes College of Music, and the Cleveland Institute of Music, specializing in opera, accompanying, and chamber music.
