Chase Miller

Chase Miller is a clarinetist, performer, and teaching artist based in central Kentucky. He serves as Adjunct Clarinet Instructor at Transylvania University, Centre College, and Asbury University. He is also Program Director of CKYO’s MusicWorks, an El Sistema-inspired after-school program. Chase was selected for South Arts’ 2020 Emerging Leaders of Color Program and received the Marlene M. Helm Alumni Achievement Award from the Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts. He has performed internationally and at festivals such as BayView and Fresh Inc., and was a concerto competition winner at the University of Kentucky and BayView Music Festival. As an educator, he runs a private studio, presents in schools, and organizes benefit recitals. He contributes to Excelcia Music Publishing’s recording project and was accepted to the 2020 MusAid Fellowship in India. Chase holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky and pursued graduate work at the University of Arizona.
