“I was fortunate to have a lengthy career as a solo performer and chamber music collaborator while teaching fulltime, followed by overlapping Arts Administration work. While one is busy looking at a reed’s life and barely considers that Nature will catch-up with one’s body too, Life eventually reminds us at first gently and then more insistently, such that one has to apply all of one’s experience and creativity to dealing with it. In my case, it was the necessity to have all of my teeth removed at once, and I thought that my career was over…”
