Garrett Medlock

Garrett Medlock is a dynamic tenor and composer. Favorite opera roles include Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, Albert in Albert Herring, and Fenton in Falstaff. Equally at home on the recital stage, they are drawn to programming that highlights underrepresented composers.

As a composer, Garrett draws inspiration from issues of social justice and the natural world. Their catalog comprises art song, song cycles, and choral works.

Garrett holds a Master’s of Music from the University of New Mexico where they studied with Jamie Flora and a Bachelor’s of Music from the University of Utah where they studied with Dr. Robert Breault.
