Pianist Dr. Michael Bunchman maintains an active schedule as a collaborative pianist across the United States. He is on faculty at the University of Southern Mississippi as director of the Collaborative Piano Program and also serves as Director of Music and Collaborative Piano at the International Performing Arts Institute in Bavaria, Germany. He has performed with members of the Boston, London, Atlanta, Chicago, and Milwaukee Symphony Orchestras, as well as soloists from the Metropolitan Opera. His collaborations include work with the Utah Festival Opera, Natchez Festival of Music, Las Cruces Symphony, Santa Barbara Opera, Opera Saratoga, the Princeton Festival, and El Paso Opera. As a concerto soloist, Dr. Bunchman has appeared with the University of Southern Mississippi Orchestra, Gulf Coast Symphony, Ridgefield Symphony, Breckenridge Music Festival, Antara Ensemble in New York City, Utah Festival Opera Orchestra, and the National Repertory Orchestra.
