New Character Pieces for Contrabassoon

Martin van Klompenberg has commissioned four new works for this medium. These pieces are character pieces, each focusing on a different aspect of contrabassoon performance. This recital hopes to showcase pieces that will assist students in learning contrabassoon by giving them specialized repertoire that focuses on the differences between bassoon and contrabassoon.
