Dr. Lydia Consilvio is an oboist, arranger, and educator whose performances span classical, contemporary, and cross-genre work. She has recorded with the Yale Choral Artists, Oklahoma City Philharmonic, and Naxos Records, with her work featured on BBC Radio 3. Her debut album, iridescent, presents J.S. Bach keyboard partitas arranged for double reed quartet. Dr. Consilvio has taught at the University of Oklahoma and given masterclasses at institutions including Oklahoma State University, Western Carolina University, and Festival Internacional de Música de Cámara Guatemala. She has performed with the Annapolis Symphony, Rochester Chamber Orchestra, and Oklahoma City Philharmonic, and appeared with Yo-Yo Ma and Esperanza Spalding as part of the genre-blending group Classically Dope. She holds degrees from the University of Maryland (DMA), Yale (MM), and Eastman School of Music (BM), where she was a Rogers Scholar and earned an Arts Leadership Certificate.
